WHAT INFORMATION WE COLLECT

When you visit our site, we collect personal information from you (your name, e-mail address, telephone number, skill set, CV, preferred salary requirements, as well as any other information that you upload or send to us directly. We only collect this information as needed to build you profile which will be promoted to companies we work with so that they have the opportunity to apply to you instead of you applying to them. 

In addition to the collection of personal information, when you visit our site, we may automatically collect specific information about your device, including information about your web browser, operating system, IP address, type of device, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse our site, we may collect information about individual web pages that you view and the amount of time spent on each page, what websites or search terms referred you to the site, and information about how you interact with our site. 
If you access or use our site on a mobile device, whether it be a phone or tablet, we collect mobile device identifiers, including MAC address and IP address. We also may create and assign to your device an identifier that is similar to an account number. We may collect the name you have associated with your device, device type, telephone number, country and any other information you chose to provide, such as username, geo-location or email address. We refer to this automatically-collected information as “Device Information.”

  • Companies: Using your job details and spec to surface the right candidates that match your requirements so that you can choose whether you wish to connect.
  • Companies: Providing information about your company, job, interview request and salary information to candidates you wish to connect with.
  • Providing customer support.
  • Personalising your visits to the site to improve the services provided to you.
  • Informing you about the latest changes to our website or service that you might find useful.
  • Communicating with you.
  • Conducting market research.
  • Carrying out technical and statistical analysis to measure the performance of our service or site.
  • Creating aggregated and anonymised reports based on the collective user content submitted by users, and using such reports for marketing purposes and distribution to third parties at our discretion.

SHARING OF YOUR INFORMATION

In order to provide our services to you as a candidate, we will need to share your details with prospective employers. A member of our team will build your profile based on the information you provide us. Your profile will then be shown to companies we work with wishing to hire someone with your skillset to see if they would like to request an interview from you. Your profile will never be shared with your present employer. As a company looking to hire candidates, we will use your job details and spec to allow our A.I. to surface relevant candidates.  

HOW LONG WE KEEP YOUR DATA FOR

At The Perfect Job, we will only retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes you submitted it for, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. The purpose of us retaining your information is to help you as a candidate to find a job where you will be happy and successful or if you are a company, the purpose of us retaining your information, is to help you source and hire top talent. At any point, you can delete your information from our database by simply emailing us at support@theperfectjob.ie. If there has not been any active use on your profile for an extended period of time, then we may contact you to notify you of the removal of your profile due to our ongoing costs of having your account on our platform.

ENSURING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION IS KEPT SECURE

The security of your personal data information is of the utmost importance to us and something we take very seriously. We have the appropriate physical, technical and administrative procedures in place to help protect your personal information from unauthorised access, use or disclosure as required by law.

OPTING OUT

You can opt out of receiving communications from us at any time (whether it be interview requests from companies, marketing communication, or updates on upgrades to our system or updates) by simply clicking on the “unsubscribe” link in the emails from us or by contacting us directly at support@theperfectjob.ie and asking us to do so on your behalf.

YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS WITH RESPECT TO YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION UNDER GDPR

In accordance with your data subject rights under GDPR, you have the following legal rights with respect to your personal information:

You have the right to make a complaint at any time to the Office of the Data Protection Commission ("ODPC"), the Irish supervisory authority for data protection issues at info@dataprotection.ie. We would very much appreciate if you could contact our Data Protection Officer first so we can have the opportunity to deal with your concerns before reaching out to the Office of the Data Protection Commission. Your privacy is of utmost importance to us and maintaining this trust is paramount to us.

At The Perfect Job, your privacy is extremely important to us as we know how important a confidential and secure job hunting process is for our candidates. We very much understand that job hunting is a sensitive process, so we value your confidence in us to protect your information.

At The Perfect Job, we only collect data as needed to help candidates find their perfect job. We take measures designed to keep your PII (Personally Identifiable Information) completely secure on The Perfect Job. The only time it gets shared with companies is when you are a match based on the job description they provided us with. Your profile will never be shared with your current employer.

When you share your C.V., experience and other important information with us, the only time we will use it is if we’re helping you to find a new job. If for whatever reason you would like us to delete your information from our database, you can do so by simply requesting us to do so on your behalf by emailing us at support@theperfectjob.ie.

CHANGES TO OUR PRIVACY POLICY

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons. If we change our privacy policy, we will post the revised privacy policy on our site with an updated “Last Updated” date. For major updates, we may also email you or post a message on our homepage notifying you of the update. All changes to our privacy policy are effective immediately once we post changes on our site. It is important that you check this page often so that you are aware of any changes, as they are binding on you. If you do not agree to any change or changes made, please discontinue the use of our site and/or service.
